ELIGIBILITY
Artisans
of the Southwest Gallery & Wine Room announces its 2nd
Annual Community Art Show (
CAS
),
February 20-March 13, in the gallery located at 175 Pagosa &
2nd Street
,
Pagosa Springs, Colorado.
Original in concept by artists working in any
medium may enter.
Artisans of the Southwest has just completed its expansion (twice
the original size) and gallery renovation, allowing the opportunity
for larger artworks!
This year,
CAS
is hosting
the two shows:
Juried
CAS
(for professional artists)
and
Non-Juried
CAS
(for amateur artists).
Artists may enter up to 4 works of art.
For professional artists in the area, whether or not they are
currently represented in a gallery of not, Artisans is a grand
opportunity to show, promote, and sell their work! The show also
provides a unique presence in a gallery setting for amateur artists
desiring to show and sell their work. For the community, “The
quality of art available varies from amateur to fine art, and a
great place to start collecting”, states gallery director Wen
Saunders.
Original in concept artwork by
artists working in any medium may enter. Work submitted must have
been completed in the last two years. Works must be dry, framed when
applicable and ready to hang with wire. Entrants must be 18 years of
age.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Artist must complete entry form, attaching tag to the
back each artwork. Checks are payable to Artisans of the Southwest.
Artists are encouraged to place their work for sale. Artisans will
retain a 40% commission for sales of work (your sales price should
reflect the commission).
ENTRY FEES
A limit of four entries per artist. All
entry fees are not refundable and payable upon entry application.
